Few days ago the remaster of Fahrenheit popped up on Amazon with Aspyr logos and penguins. Well, it seems that Aspyr is indeed behind the remaster and the Tux was put on there for a purpose. Behold, the next Aspyr Linux port is here!
This one surely was a big surprise. I don't think anyone could have expected this game to come out on Linux before the Amazon incident. I haven't played the original but I've only really heard good things about the game and the messages we've received from fans of the game since we reported the game popping up on Amazon have been full of excitement.
About (from https://www.fahrenheit-game.com/)
Originally released in 2005, Fahrenheit (known as Indigo Prophecy in North America) was a breakthrough in interactive narrative, teetering between the worlds of cinema and gaming while also embracing them, carving its own unique genre in the entertainment landscape. This newly remastered edition features updated graphics and full controller support for all platforms, and is based on the uncut and uncensored international version of the game.
With a rich multilayered narrative, innovative presentation, and a chilling musical score by famed Hollywood composer Angelo Badalementi, Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered serves as the definitive version of the supernatural murder mystery and (re)introduces the groundbreaking title to old and new fans alike.
How to get some free keys
Aspyr has once again generously given us some Steam keys to give out to you. And we have this tradition of making you do stuff to get those keys. Of course previously we've often asked for reasons why you love us and Aspyr but this time we'll be playing differently. Because we are dealing with a thriller game, I thought we could ask you a question that's related to the theme.
So, what is your favourite thriller story? It can be from a game, a movie or a book but we are excluding Fahrenheit from this one because it would be too easy an answer. Sorry, Fahrenheit fans! And if you are not a fan of thrillers, what has been the scariest moment in gaming for you? Bonus points for answering both! (Bonus points may or may not count towards your victory.)

Some you may have missed, popular articles from the last month:
Favorite Thriller story: Arlington Road.
Most scariest moment in gaming: It has to be in the first Silent Hill, everytime the ambient feeling changed and I heard that siren from far... I knew anything could happen... or not!

My favourite thriller story is the movie seven. The most scaring moment while gaming was when I started to play Amnesia. I never continued the game.

Quoting: HonorEDnlKScariest moment: I was playing silent hill 1 at 3 AM, after killing the giant dog and getting out of the school I was searching for the hospital when I heard a girl's scream outside (irl). There's a ravine behind my house, and the window on my room faces the ravine. The scream came from there. I never played silent hill again, and could not sleep that night. It could've been an animal, but it really sounded like a human. You didn't go investigate?! :O

Hell no. That scream didn't sound like a scared girl, it sounded like anguish-y and angry and violent, and it sounded way too near to feel safe. I didn't even want to get near the window and close the curtains even though I was on a second floor lol.
A friend from a nearby neighborhood and my mom have heard it too, and it was about 2004-2005 when I did, but whatever it was I don't think it's there anymore. Anyway, no one knew what it was, but everyone was afraid of it. It was just the one scream and nothing else after.
Since then I've been waiting for a movie about banshees, that'd be awesome if they can reproduce that horrible scream. If you played Disciples: Sacred Lands, the banshee scream in that game sounds kind of like it, as the banshee is the first thing that came to my mind when I heard it. There are banshees in Disiciples II, but they didn't get the scream right hehe

The scariest moment in gaming was one time when I played FEAR and I went down a ladder, and somehow I get the incredibly bright idea to go up again and there was the ghost girl (don't want to spoil anything for people who haven't played the game). I nearly shit myself and my adrenaline went over 9000. I went totally crazy, running all over the map saying, "shit, shit, shit", spraying with my gun like a madman, surprisingly accurate too, but after some minutes I died.
After that I went downstairs to grab myself some soda. If it weren't for my strong mind refuting the possibility of the ghost girl sitting around the corner I would've fallen asleep in the kitchen.
When I watched Taken for the first time I was literally screaming at the screen for Liam to beat the shit out of this criminals, and my heart was basically in my throat the entire time. I don't usually do that, or I almost never do. I guess that film is a really good thriller.

Heavy Rain was a great thriller story. Michael Jackson' thriller is a thriller also. I also liked Disturbia.
