Feral Interactive Are Teasing Another Linux Port

By -
Even though we still haven't found out what game we teamed up with Feral Interactive to do a competition for, they have unleashed a new radar blip for a new Linux port.

What ever could that be? My personal guess is something like Silent Hunter, but what do you guys think it is?

It's fantastic to see Feral's commitment to Linux as a gaming platform, but we wish they would announce what the soon to be released title is!

Exciting! Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Silent Hunter (4? 5?) would be lovely but it seems too niche and too old to be probable. Then again, Aspyr did port Indigo Prophecy. I have no plausible guesses but would love if either Feral or Aspyr brought over Homeworld Remastered.

I don't understand what we see in the small block. I first thought it was a whale (or sort of) but I'm pretty sure whales have far less legs than this.

whale.... Dishonored, please

That's what I first thought/hoped, but is that really a whale?

That's actually not a bad suggestion at all! Whales do play a role in the Dishonoured universe. And it's not ported to Mac yet either.

Man, I'd LOVE it to be Dishonoured! Yet another game I already own, but also yet another game I've barely started (Linux took over as gaming platform around the time I bought this game for Windows).

Owh man, I spent my cash on Dying Light (well spent!) so now I can't afford Raven's Cry!

I can't believe it's come to a point where we are getting new high quality games for Linux, and there's too many that I can't afford to keep getting them all.

I'm guessing/hoping they're porting Trials Evolution :)

Reason:

The image is of Tiktaalik which is commonly associated with the evolution of fish to tetrapods even though there are fully formed tetrapod footprints found much lower in sedamentary rock than Tiktaalik.

Hopefully Raven's Cry actually works..Lol

Day one release of Raven's Cry.. you have to go to properties and "betas", and select "Devcomp"...in order to download 5GB of files after you initially download 2.1GB...interesting.

This has been a weird and horrific week in the first part of 2015 for us Linux gamers.. Hope it gets better.

Evolve perhaps ?

A whale? Is it falling to the ground next to a pot of petunias?

Moebius the Empire Rising?

Evolve perhaps ?

That is probably more likely the case.

Taking a second look, Trials Evolution is kind of a pipe dream because I just saw on the Steam store page that it's published by Ubisoft and developed by Redlynx (which is a division of Ubisoft). Knowing Ubisoft's history with Mac ports, they'll probably start making/porting a game or two to Linux sometime around 2020, haha :)

But, for the fun of it I'll stick to my guns.

I'm certain Jesta is correct. It's Evolve.

The image just fits that perfectly and it's a 2K game, so it fits the pattern of 2K porting all their stuff.

Is it just me though, or does Evolve sound like a rip-off of Natural Selection?

Ubisoft, no thanks... apart from Michel Ancel games.
