Feral Interactive Are Teasing Another Linux Port

By -
Even though we still haven't found out what game we teamed up with Feral Interactive to do a competition for, they have unleashed a new radar blip for a new Linux port.

What ever could that be? My personal guess is something like Silent Hunter, but what do you guys think it is?

It's fantastic to see Feral's commitment to Linux as a gaming platform, but we wish they would announce what the soon to be released title is!

Exciting! Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

At this point I don't know, so I'll throw out an unlikely game and say Homeworld Remastered. I say unlikely because it would seem more likely that Asypr would get the Homeworld Remastered license.

I'm certain Jesta is correct. It's Evolve.
The image just fits that perfectly and it's a 2K game, so it fits the pattern of 2K porting all their stuff.
Is it just me though, or does Evolve sound like a rip-off of Natural Selection?
What about "Depth Charge" clue ?

BTW, I don't remember any news about another port :
A fist and "Scorched Earth".

Maybe one or both Battlestations games, they ported to Mac already

Notice the Mac image, the game will have to be new to Mac too.

So I guess it's probably another Total War, Rome or Medieval 2.

A bigger image of Tiktaalik used by Feral.

[Melbourne Museum : Tiktaalik – the 'fishapod'
I was trying to start a discussion that this can't be a whale (or anything that big) because of the eye/head ratio...

Maybe they are teasing Bioshock 1 or 2. It is in an underwater world but you walk by foot almost all the time, and in B2 Subject Delta has the attack drill charge. Own B2 already, would be fun to play it again though.

Ubisoft, no thanks... apart from Michel Ancel games.

Yeah, Beyond Good & Evil would be a dream come true, and I wouldn't mind the Rayman games either. Preferably without a port of Uplay though. ;)

Guys, it's Spore, published in 2008 by EA. I wouldn't mind having that game in my Steam library.

For me it's not a whale, I think is the carnivore fish of Dishonored. The shape give it away.

Hmmm..Empire:Total War is already out (one I'd already bought for Windows :'( ), so I really don't know whether that means we'll see more in the series, or if the porters are going for something else.

I too am thinking it's spore.
lucifertdark Jan 31, 2015
I hope it's not spore, EA shut the online part of it ages ago.

Homeworld Remastered Collection !!!
Rutine Jan 31, 2015
You are totally wrong ! All of you !
Depth charge = UFO - Terror from the deep !
(Yeah, I know, it doesn't need porting, just DosBOX)
I hope it's not Spore, I bought and played it on Windows a few years ago and it was just.. well, let's just say I didn't have any fun.

whale.... Dishonored, please
That's actually not a bad suggestion at all! Whales do play a role in the Dishonoured universe. And it's not ported to Mac yet either.

Man, I'd LOVE it to be Dishonoured! Yet another game I already own, but also yet another game I've barely started (Linux took over as gaming platform around the time I bought this game for Windows).

Its "Dishonored" ;O and its great yeah :D

A fist and "Scorched Earth", the closest thing to Linux port. I can't wait for this, it must be my type, about war and strategy. ^_^
