We have teamed up with Feral Interactive, who ported XCOM: Enemy Unknown and Empire: Total War to Linux, to bring you a fantastic new competition! Simply guess their next Linux port, and you could win a downloadable copy when it is released!

We are calling this "Operation Feral Penguins"!

Rules & Information
Utilise your tux telepathy (yes, that’s a thing) to guess the title of the first game Feral Interactive is going to bring to Linux in 2015.

Guesses will be read in the following places:
- #FeralPenguins2015 hashtag on Twitter.
- GamingOnLinux: Comment on our article here!
- Feral Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/feralinteractive/

The single winner will be selected from everyone who guesses correctly before the deadline.

The winner will not be announced until the game itself is announced, which will be early 2015. As the competition runs until mid-January, the announcement date shouldn't be too far after, so you won't have to wait long at all.

Deadline for guesses:

15 January 2015 at midnight (UTC)

Now, begin the guessing game, my little army of feral penguins! Fear not though, for I your penguin king am not in this competition for absolute fairness, and I don't even know what it is! Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

I'm going to speculate my answer from a twitter post from a few days back. On Dec. 30 Feral made a tweet asking followers what was their 2014 game of the year and what are they anticipating in 2015. I tweeted:

"1. Quest for Infamy (Linux) 2. Witcher 3 (if released on Linux)"

To which they replied:

"Good choices!"

One other person mention Witcher 3, but didn't say what platform. Also, no one else got a reply from Feral. They could've said good choice on my pick of QfI, yet they said 'choices'. Maybe I'm reading too much into this OR CD Projekt RED wants to avoid another eON incident and has Feral working on a native version of Witcher 3.

My Guess is Witcher 3.

I guess it will be Tomb Raider, but Witcher3 would rock even more.
already got them both, so I'm not taking part :}
In any case I'd love to see either a AAA rpg, action adventure or racing game

I'm thinking of Napoleon Total War, just in the same order as it occurred on Mac.

I'm hoping for one of the LEGO games. If not that, then Unmechanical, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, Alice: Madness Returns, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Q.U.B.E., Dishonored, Mind: Path to Thalamus or Viscera Cleanup Detail. Or most of all really, the upcoming A Hat in Time.

That aside though, my bet is on LEGO: The Hobbit. Would be an insta-buy for me.

My guess is GTA5. Take-two has so far been very willing to work with linux (hasn't nearly all AAA linux releases that were not valve, take-two published games?). However, all of that cooperation has so far been on the 2K Games side of the fence. GTA5 seems like it would be a good fit seeing as how it is a recently released game (potential buyers would be more numerous) and it is already multiplatform. This would be a trial of sorts for porting rockstar made games.
