One game we haven't mentioned before is VoidExpanse, and I'm not sure why as it looks like a great space game.
You know I'm a real sucker for space games, and when it looks this good already I think you should check it out. The vast amounts of weapons, exploration, multiplayer and more will make this quite the tasty post-Christmas treat.
I've played a little bit of it, and it seemed to work perfectly fine on Linux. The graphical style really is quite pleasing on the eyes, and the game-play is quite a bit like a 2D Eve Online.
