You have to hand it to the Unvanquished team, as they do put in a lot of effort to make a great game. Alpha 36 has been released, and it features some brand new models.

This release is quite a milestone for the game, as all of the human buildings are now finished, so the developers can fully focus on mapping, bugs, performance and the alien team.

At the current rate of their releases, it does seem like they may be able to push out a "stable" release this year, and you can be sure when they do that we will take a proper look at it.

See the full release notes here on the official website.

If you play it, be sure to let us know what it's like now and if it's worth jumping into it in the current state. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.
