This side-scrolling game mixes highly stylized 3D graphics and environments with gameplay that has the player seeking clues and the answers necessary to solve a series of murders. Accompanied by a fedora-wearing cat, players will have a series of abilities available to them that will help them advance along the game. What's interesting is that the primary tool is a revolver with different types of non-lethal bullets. Grappling hooks, blood splatters, and fireworks are among the different types of cartridges the gun can fire which may make for creative gameplay.

The game has come a long way since GOL last took a proper look at it and it looks like a rather different type of game than the usual fare. Its promises are ambitious and, if it delivers, it will likely be a game worth playing through.

You can currently pre-order the game from the developers here and get a DRM-free version as well as a Steam key. As always, you may wish to hold off on pre-ordering until the game has actually come out on Linux and is confirmed to work properly. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

History, sci-fi, technology, cooking, writing and playing games are things I enjoy very much. I'm always keen to try different genres of games and discover all the gems out there.

Oh and the name doesn't mean anything but coincidentally could be pronounced as "Buttery" which suits me just fine.

Kind of a sucker for the Noir theme alone. Very curious to see how it plays out.
