The Wine Development Release 1.7.36 Is Now Available

Wine development team was able to produce a new experimental release today. 1.7.36 bringing many new features and as many as 44 bugfixes.

A new issue of World Wine News is also available: #384

The few most interesting features introduced in this release:
  • Some preliminary 64-bit support for Mac OS X.
  • Support for configuring speakers in Winecfg.
  • Improved support for Mac OS X Trash folder.
  • Support for typographic features in DirectWrite.
  • Various bug fixes.

This some tests with Farcry 3 and in this wine version fix some sound problems in 32bit mint and appears solve something more rare colors

Hmh, any version higher than 1.7.34 breaks sound for me.
I may have surround sounds but lose character sounds (it's like center/stereo sounds getting lost).
Wine 1.7.34 works fine for me.

Also, winecfg picks the wrong soundcard in the speaker settings in v1.7.36 and doesn't save changes.

I stay with wine 1.7.34.
