Feral Interactive just sent out word that not only are they porting Shadow of Mordor to Linux, but they are the mean porting machine behind the recent announcements of Batman: Arkham Knight, GRID Autosport and Company of Heroes 2.

Happy to confirm Batman: Arkham Knight, GRID Autosport and Company of Heroes 2 will come to SteamOS, Ubuntu and OS X. pic.twitter.com/WMHbTwkkVr

Considering just how good the XCOM port is (plugging my review of it again here), I have no problem with them porting a ton more!

Since Feral announced Mordor first, I imagine we will see that one first, but we don't have a solid date for any of the ports just yet.

GRID and CoH2 will be awesome; can't say I care much for Batman (or the games) though.

Feral is turning up the heat! Remember, folks, buying games from Feral directly will guarantee that Feral gets all your money while the games count as Linux purchases. You still get the games on Steam as well.

Feral do great ports. This is good news.

Wow, they're busy, four ports right now? That is great! So far both of their ports were pretty much flawless. Can't wait for Mordor and maybe try out a Batman game, heard a lot about them being good, so this would be a great time to try one out!

Way to go Feral!

I will buy it all. No matter if I will play them all

Some awesome games indeed, but thats probably the schedule for the whole year. A "real" racing game would be really great for Linux so come on GRID.

The XCOM port is great.

However, bear in mind that this game has rather static scenes where performance is not that important.
So when it comes to performance we still have to see how good Feral does with fast action games.

Shadow of Mordor is a must-buy - having watched Jesse Cox play through the game, I'm pumped to have a go at a top-notch spectacle fighter.

I'm sure I'll buy them all. My only wish is that companies would start doing these ports in-house. I love Feral and Aspyr so far, but I'm still adjusting to the idea that they won't drop off the face of the earth like Loki and LGP did to me in the past.

Hell, yeah! So we are getting quality ports of these games :D

Glad I didn't buy any not-yet-released-for-Linux games on the SteamOS sale - it makes a whole lot of difference if they are ported by external companies.

Will see, sure is better to have experience with maybe a less complex game that start from zero.

OMFG!!!! Finally I will play a decent racing game in Linux (with permission from Project Cars)
Orkultus 11 Mar 2015
They def know how to do it well. X-COM was their first port right? It was great from the get go. They can only get better from here on out. Cant wait for all these titles. I will def be buying them all.

Nice! Don't know yet for CoH2 but the 3 others will be mine!

Batman? STEAM dayONE 4k FTW

I’ll get GRID and Mordor, not sure about the other two as I don’t know anything about them.

Edit: assuming they work under Linux and not only SteamOS and Ubuntu, of course, because I don’t plan on using any of those two distros.

Of course they'll work, but there won't be support. And I totally understand this. I mean devs don't support every version of windows either and there is a lot less than there are distros out there.

The community will handle this ;)

I'll buy Batman, Mordor and CoH for sure. The Batman games all were really epic. Even the last one, not made by Rocksteady, although it was not that good.

I'll most likely be getting Batman, Grid, and Mordor. Where's my wallet!!
