I do love the style of both You Have To Win The Game and Super Win The Game, and it looks like Gunmetal Arcadia will follow in those footsteps.

You can find the Linux Demo here, and it worked like a charm for me!

See the full blog post from the developer here.

What do you guys think? I’m sure people who enjoyed the awesome retro style of the previous games will love this equally. I still think the CRT screen effect is fantastic.

This is mostly a tech demo FYI, and meant to get feedback on it. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Note that this is just a game feel build meant to gather feedback to make the controls feel just right. As a demo it feels very barren, but I'm sure we'll get a build further down the line better suited to generate excitement for the upcoming game.

I bought Super Win the Game on the weekend and just finished it last night. Excellent game, and superb Linux port with zero issues for me. The controls (on a gamepad) were totally nailed, too! I think Gunmetal Arcadia will be an insta-buy for me.

I really like Kyle's stuff.

And indeed, that (fake) CRT simulation is superb.
IMHO far better than any of those CRT modes
trying to attempt a physical correct model.

I want that for MAME and other emulators!

Glad to see he's back on it again and giving it another go with a Linux build! Personally, I find that encouraging.

I just hope he will price it right this time, so that he's not disappointed with sales numbers (not only Linux).

I agree. Pricing is everything. Especially when you are trying to break into the business and establish yourself.

I will say that I will purchase when I see it in release form and with a Penguin logo.
