That's a bloody huge milestone. We all know quality over quantity, but with 1000+ games now on Steam for Linux, there has to be something for everyone!
The current count for me is at 1002, I imagine it may be a few lower in specific regions due to region blocking, but with more releases planned it's only going to keep growing.
I still remember the days of being in absolute denial that Steam would come to Linux, and now we have masses of games, some little and some big. We have Steam Machines with the Linux based SteamOS coming our way, and tons more big games to come.
Here's a pointless screenshot for you:
What a time to be a Linux Gamer.
Now, where's my rum gone? More on this breaking new story when I find my rum to celebrate.

Quoting: liamdaweWe all know quality over quantity, but with 1000+ games now on Steam for Linux, there has to be something for everyone!Everyone but the AAA MMORPG crowd, it's the last chink in the compelling linux game selection armor. Something like Neverwinter, TERA, RIFT, GW2, WoW etc...
Shrouds of the Avatar may become something great but that's still yet to be seen and Warhammer 40k Online: Eternal Crusade is confirmed coming but that's more of an MMOFPS and lacks in the RPG department. It's understandable there isn't yet something like this for Linux as MMORPG's are the largest money sink and thus the largest risk. I'm hoping after SteamOS takes off that Neverwinter will come to it as it's gameplay is great for controllers and it's already entering the console market with Xbox which would mean they're not opposed to making the port if it looks promising.

@liam: Yeah, it's 1002 available here in the US as well. You're from Europe right?
4799 total on Windows.
1609 total on Mac.
I think that's one hell of an accomplishment.
Own 111/120. :)

Quoting: pd12Never fear, Star Citizen is coming here! =)I've known about that too but it strikes me more as a space sim and FPS than MMORPG, it doesn't quite scratch the same kind of itch most MMORPG players seek. Still it's very good that it's coming to Linux and I'll probably grab it when it goes on sale on the steam store at some point.
Edit: And to go along with everyone else posting library information.
I've got 17 titles and all 17 are linux only. I'm relatively new to steam and only just started buying up titles to prepare for my steam box build in November :D
Bought like $80 in titles during the last sale including the Shadows of Mordor game.
