The new GOL survey for March is now available, so please make sure to fill it in if you have the time.
After many requests, the publication of the new survey and the results of the previous one have been separated into two articles to prevent confusion. The results of the previous survey will be published in the next couple of days.
You can find the link here, and please share with other Linux gamers if you can!

Some you may have missed, popular articles from the last month:
I mean, if some whatever company decides to simply slap together some off the shelf hardware parts and calling it a Steam Machine, then I'm not interested, I already did that. (not that is something wrong with a product like that)
I would be more likely to buy something custom made like the Alienware machine, but something more powerful (the Alienware is too weak for my taste).
But the best scenario for me it would be to buy one made by Valve.
I know, they don't intend to do that for the moment...but you never know.
Even better, I would love to get my hands on one of those original 300 beta Steam Machines.
Is not about their value in money, but rather because I consider them (in a sense) a piece of history.
Also, it pains me to know that some of their owners erased SteamOS and oh, the insult, installed Windows on them.
And then have the same question again next month after GDC when more details are announced to see if things change on the results :)
Good thinking :)
On a side note, I will buy one to replace the pc i have on the tv. The one i have is very old. Good enough for playing media but not for gaiming. I hope they come with big hd :)
I'll think of it as if I were going to buy a console... A console im really going to like since the first thing Im going to do is to wipe it and install some standard debian. You can't say that about your average console, can you?
Love it, can't wait to see the results of that!
To sum up: Go Steam Machines! I would never buy one, but I'd happily recommend them to "real" gamers.
For gaming only? No, I have a Wii (not the U) for that purpose.
