If you have held off buying some of our bigger game ports recently, now is a great time to buy classics like Borderlands 2, XCOM, and the newly ported Bioshock Infinite.

The sale runs until the 23rd, so you have plenty of time to choose what you're going to buy.

Linux Games
Bioshock Infinite (typical, we only just picked it up at full price!)
Borderlands 2
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel
Civilization Beyond Earth
Civilization V
XCOM: Enemy Unknown (Still one of my favourite ever strategy games, see my review here)
XCOM: Enemy Within expansion

See the special sale page on Steam here.

This was the first time I realized that nearly all BIG Linux games seem to come from 2K or Valve itself.
It seems it's not a great variety of publishers that supports our favorite system...

Hmm...unfortunatly there's not much left to buy.

I have every title with a linux version, except "Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel" and although I bought all the story-dlc:s for "Borderlands 2", I never felt like playing longer than the main-story ending (and barely that long). So that was a bit of wasted money...

I'm really keeping my fingers crossed for more mayor publishers like "Square Enix", "Deep Silver" and "Bethesda".

I would be interested in Beyond Earth for that price, but does anybody know if they included Steam Workshop support in the Linux version. Civ 5 never got it so far.

Already bought the BI DLCs :>

@ Eike
But 2k never ports the games in house, they always let it port by Aspyr, Feral or VP. Don't get me wrong, the ports always have a good quality so no complaints from me :)
But lets not forget about Nordic Games or Deep Silver. They are also really Linux friendly and still have some games in the making. Can't wait for The Guild 3 and Spellforce 3 ;)

It's there, but I can't vouch for it's usability.

Incidentally, you can enable mods in CivV with a little config file tomfoolery, but again, I can't vouch for it's usability.

Scooped up BInfinite with all the DLCs. If all goes according to plan, I'll finish the main campaign right before the launch of Pillars of Eternity, then I'll have Burial at Sea to play in the future.

Yep, rage against Bioshock's sale... :D
But in all seriousness, I'd buy that game rather for a full price anyway given how well it behaves under eOn.

Since Nordic games is doing their ports in house, it will be interesting to compare performance and quality with the outsourced ports.

I'm also curious to see if Deep Silver hires VP or one of the others to do Saints Row IV.

QuoteXCOM: Enemy Within expasion

I can only recommend it. I bought it at full price after Enemy Unknown blew my mind last summer, just to show my support.
It's an amazing addon and adds another bunchload of cool tech and stuff.

If you have only played the original Enemy Unknown, please consider buying the expansion!
