I'd like some graphically updated “no-pixel” version of “Battle city,” personally *cough*

Just tested this game and it was totally worth it!
Reminds me of advance wars at first, but it is not a simple clone, it has its own gameplay mechanics.

It seemed very polished for a development-version,
just lacking some more convenient controls and an introduction to the mechanics (the help screen uses symbols, but some are a little complex to understand. At least for me :D)

This is a game with political overtones?

Will there be instructions to install? I tried, but got some errors. I can put the output here if you like. I really like what I see here, and can't wait to play it! Keep up the good work!
