Need your fix of Worms? Worms Clan Wars is now available natively on Linux, and a massive sale too! Time to send in the exploding sheep!

I have extremely fond memories of playing Worms on my Amiga as kid, so this port pleases me to no end.

Did anyone else go into the settings and set all the best weapons to be unlimited...just me? The original was extremely fun, and especially fun with human players.

I look forward to kicking your asses online.

Performance
Game launches without problems for me, and I get a solidly good framerate through the entire tutorial.

Connecting to an online game using Quick Match also worked without issue! Apparently I suck too.

The only issues I have are sometimes buttons require two clicks, it doesn't seem to register the first click sometimes. The other issue is scrolling across the screen can seem a little sluggish.

Overall, it's very playable.

About the game (Official)
Worms™ Clan Wars brings friends and families together in the noble pursuit of self‐improvement, world domination and exploding sheep.

Worms™ Clan Wars is the biggest and best Worms™ game to date - more worms, larger landscapes, more dynamic water, more weapons and more customisation items than ever before. Worms™ Clan Wars is designed to take full advantage of next gen PC hardware. It features beautiful high definition 3D visuals (but still retains the classic 2D gameplay) with new lighting effects, new features to help users interact socially, exciting additions to improve the single player experience, and more of everything a Worms fan could want.

Quick Q, has anybody seen any cutscenes in the game? I've got a hunch that they're not appearing.

Does it have a timer for the moves? If so, can it be switched off? I need my thinking time...! ;)

There is NO CONTROLLER SUPPORT for the Linux version and Team17 said they have no plans to add it. I always give Linux devs the benefit of the doubt, but I asked for my money back.

There's no way I'm playing worms on a kb, I've always played it with a controller and the fact that they didn't clarify that there was no support before hand and gave no reason as to why it doesn't have it really pissed me off big time.
