Storm United is the first real game out there to use Unreal Engine 4 on Linux, and it's really stealing my heart already.

The brand new update that just landed adds a few little bells and whistles, but the biggest change is weapon loadouts. Instead of having a screen full of weapons, you now pick and save your choice of loadouts, and it makes the game quite a bit nicer.

It seems they also solved the stutter on Linux when you fire a weapon, so the game is nearly perfect performance wise in my testing earlier.

The session I was playing on the new update had the developer in it too responding to feedback, so that's another awesome point.

I imagine you will be able to see us play it in the livestream tomorrow.

About the game
Storm United is a class-based multiplayer First Person Shooter that aims to bring top tier fps fun and smooth sensations with the help of our unique procedural physically simulated weapon and camera movements tech. If you are a FPS fan, please try and feel it for yourself, we really worked a lot on the gameplay fluidity and hope you like it as much as we do!

I shall leave you with this beautiful shot of myself and an enemy who froze eachother, brilliance.

I might join in if I can make it on time :) bought the game a while ago and so far I like what I see, too bad there is hardly anyone playing but that problem will solve itself in time.
