Dying Light is to gain its first big DLC with The Bozak Horde, it looks like a wave-based survival challenge, so it's not the most exciting of DLC, but still it would be fun with friends.

About The Bozak Horde
It’s time for you to go on the offensive! Enter the Stadium, the most famous landmark in Harran, and delve straight into the carnage. Go alone or join forces with other survivors to test your combat know-how against relentless hordes of the Infected. Unlock new skills and become the champion of Harran’s stadium.

Looks like this new DLC will finally allow us to use a bow and arrow too, how could a zombie/stealth game not have them to begin with? Shame really that we have to wait for a DLC, but I very much enjoyed Dying Light apart from the ending, and you can see my review here.

Let's hope the performance patch I tested comes out soon too, so that more people can enjoy it. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

This DLC is even more of a yawnfest without that patch to make the Linux version really playable especially for those on mid to low end hardware. Hope it is coming along nicely and will be released soon.

That's the big thing for me. I made the mistake of getting hyped for the game and buying before reading about the performance (Now I know from experience why not to do that), and I won't be able to stomach paying them even more money when the game I paid $60 for is still basically unplayable on my hardware (Below 30 FPS at all times on a 750 Ti with proprietary drivers, 8 GB RAM, and an FX 3650). Aren't we still waiting on mod support, too? Plus, the DLC page only lists Windows operating systems in its requirements, raising a red flag for me: When will this DLC be supported on the Linux version of the game?

Liam, seeing as how you were one of the people to get access to the beta performance patch, is there any chance you could ask them that? I'd expect the answer to be something along the lines of "After mod support is implemented", but it would be nice to know if I could play with my Windows friends before they get bored of it, should the performance patch be good enough for me to be able to play the game.

They just added the Linux system req for the DLC, so it looks like it will be a day-1 release.

Really hope they release that performance patch soon, I can't bare to touch this game otherwise! Slaugthering zombies with lag is boring :)
