Some of you might remember this open, procedurally generated space exploration / exploitation game that was kickstarted in late 2012. The project has now woken up from extended, months-long cryosleep.
I wouldn't be surprised if you had already forgotten about this game, I personally barely remembered that it existed. And there's a very good reason for that: the development of the game essentially ceased months ago. The latest Kickstarter update is from January 23rd. After months of debate whether or not the developer had run off with the money or died, he has finally come back from the dead, so to speak.
The developer, Josh Parnell, notes mental illness as the reason for his absence. He had tried to work on Limit Theory for 3 months without being able to get anything done and finally sought help and was diagnosed and treated by professionals. He is now feeling better and plans to continue the development of Limit Theory, starting slowly.

One of the notable things about Limit Theory is that the developer used Linux as the main development platform and shared some of his thoughts about developing on Linux in his update videos. You can find the rest of the update videos from the Limit Theory YouTube channel.

He sounds like he's about 14 (not an insult). The game looks very relaxing, even if it just involved flying around aimlessly.
