Skullgirls, the 2D fighting game with quite a saga built upon its Linux port, has released a video of the port in action.
Back in May of this year, the developers noted the port is now being done officially (rather than a volunteer effort).
I, for one, am very excited to finally play this game especially now after the recent free week it had on Steam, which got some of my friends to start playing the game already.

That part of the code I know personally, as I wrote the SDL input hooks for the Skullgirls engine. It supports SDL_Joystick and SDL_GameController (as well as keyboard input recently), and through SDL_Joystick, my Madcatz PS3 Namco Tournament Edition fightstickS work (yes, plural :D). SDL_GameController takes care of the X360 wired pads.
