Hatred fills your whole body. You’re sick and tired of humanity’s worthless existence. The only thing that matters is your gun and the pure Armageddon that you want to unleash.

The game looks super boring. On the plus side, the destruction physics look phenomenal.

Looks like it could get kinda old pretty fast, but could be fun for killing some time in short bursts. I do like the way they did the graphics though.

You can play Postal 2 as "Pacifist", killing nobody at all. Video games are just as violent as you are.

The game is just plain bad and the developers instead of making a good game used brutal violence to get attention to their bad product. This is not new at all, Manhunt, Postal, Punisher, they all used this same strategy to try to paddle their crapware. GTA are violent games, but at least gameplay is good. What does Hatred have to show for itself?

There's a growing sentiment I've seen on many boards that to object to something because of content is somehow not okay. People are entitled to their opinions, plain and simple. This game doesn't interest me simply because it is a story I don't care to be part of. Postal didn't have a very strong story either, and I'm not a fan of that game either. Why is it that developers can make good stories or lots of violence but not both?

You should play Witcher 3 or Fallout New Vegas. Both games pretty violent and they have decent writing.

....the gameplay is garbage though in my opinion.
Firstly, the fact that you use the term "SJW" says more about you than about them.
Secondly, most people in my Twitter feed who you would classify as such were arguing that the game has a right to exist, even with such content.

that video makes it look fun but last time i looked reviews. my first impression from those was bit lame. i had commodore 64 that kind of games with different skin.

I suppose those are pretty violent too, but you're right in that those are MUCH better stories. I really hope Witcher 3 makes it onto Linux.

This is good news. Linux users deserve the same choice in games as other platforms, including awful games. To anyone considering this game, I'd recommend reading some reviews before buying because they're universally terrible. If it still sounds like your kind of thing, enjoy.

I can not comment too much since I have not played GTA, but it would appear that Postal 2 is at the very least more aware of itself than GTA IV is.
