Planetary Annihilation is still my favourite real-time strategy game, and now even more so. Uber Entertainment may have taken their sweet time, but Asteroids are now in their latest test build.

This isn’t the only new feature, building placement has been improved, tons of AI fixes and improvements, more modding support and general bug fixes too.

See the full changelog in this forum post. This isn't yet in the stable game, so you will need to opt-in to play it.

I think it’s really great to see them deliver on more of their original promises, this is after the needed revamp of the single-player galactic war as well.

They still ideally need a proper tutorial, as that’s the main complaint I keep seeing. Getting people to watch videos just doesn’t cut it for a game like this. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.
