Submerged was pointed out to us in our forum, and it seems the developers are considering a Linux version, and even testing it right now. The game looks beautiful, so I hope it does come.

About the game (Official)
Submerged is a third-person combat-free game in which you explore a mysterious flooded city and discover the beauty of desolation in vast outdoor environments. You take on the role of Miku, a young girl who has brought her wounded brother to the city in their small fishing boat. Navigate the flooded city streets by boat, scale the drowned buildings, and use your telescope to scour the city for the supplies needed to save your dying sibling. As you explore the city at your own pace, you encounter the habitat that flourishes in this colorful place and discover hidden objects that piece together the story of a broken world and a broken family.
Looks pretty fab, I hope they manage to sort the issues to bring out a Linux version.

QuoteHi,
I don't want to promise anything as we have not fully tested the Linux version of the game yet, and there are still some outstanding issues we need to resolve before we can decide if it can be released or not.
With that disclaimer out of the way, Submerged is built on UE4, and we do have a Linux build of the game running with OpenGL on Ubuntu and SteamOS.
No solid release plan yet, as things like Havok Physics are not working, so there is still a lot more work to do before we can evaluate it fully.

Not a Day One purchase though. Cradle taught me not to trust.
What's wrong with Cradle (apart from a tighter-than-it-should-be FOV)? I thought it was getting generally good feedback.
The FoV is a huge issue for me since I get motion sickness, and the devs have a pretty bad attitude about it. The fact that it's unplayable by a significant part of their audience is actually a pretty serious issue.

This game looks like "Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons" which is a game I really liked and I think everyone should play.

A Windows-only game, unfortunately.

Could you explain why, I haven't got Cradle, but I'm thinking about it.

See my earlier comment about FoV. If I'd gotten it Day One, I wouldn't have known about it before buying and probably ended up sickened by it. The devs don't seem to have taken this into account and are now taking the "this is the best for our game" excuse, which is clearly just a justification for a bad design choice that they don't want to fix.
