The Terraria developers have confirmed the Linux version will launch tomorrow in open beta, I can't wait.

We will be releasing Mac/Linux as open beta tomorrow. Will have more details on this in the morning.

— Terraria Official (@Terraria_Logic) July 22, 2015

I've been wanting to play it for a long time, and tomorrow I will finally be able to see what all the fuss is about!

About the game (Official)
Dig, Fight, Explore, Build: The very world is at your fingertips as you fight for survival, fortune, and glory. Will you delve deep into cavernous expanses in search of treasure and raw materials with which to craft ever-evolving gear, machinery, and aesthetics? Perhaps you will choose instead to seek out ever-greater foes to test your mettle in combat? Maybe you will decide to construct your own city to house the host of mysterious allies you may encounter along your travels?

You can find Terraria on Steam, but the usual applies: Don't buy it until it's out. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Doesn't show up for me either. Maybe it's releasing by time zone or regions?

I can wait a little longer I guess.

Quoting: Crazy PenguinAt the current Linux policy of GOG you might have to wait another year :P

Which current linux policy? They've added the linux port of "Shadow Warrior 2013" very fast after the final release. Also "Outlast" was out very fast within days. So where is the problem? And when we have to wait another month I'll take the time and use my WINE-installation until the day of release. :)
