The Raven - Legacy of a Master Thief is reasonably well rated crime adventure game, and GOG have now published it in their DRM free library.
I've tried it out a bit, and the GOG version seems to have issues with graphical corruption:
Those squares shouldn't be there, and they remain in the whole scene.
I've seen lots of reports of graphical issues on Linux, some have been patched, but couldn't find any posts about my issue.
The game also wouldn't give me the ability to load the main menu until after it asked if I wanted a tutorial, found that a bit odd. I also can't access the main menu until nothing is going on, if any movement or chatter is happening it's locked away, very annoying.

I've purchased this game both on GamersGate and on the Humble Store, only to obtain the same result: a blank screen. Will the third time be truly the charm if I get it again on GOG? Both the GG and the Humble builds are 4.4GB in size so this one seems to be different, and at this point I wouldn't mind a little graphical corruption at all :P (although I think I'll wait for a tempting sale)

I loved it. Just like those Sherlock games there a bunch of well thought puzzle.

I played the Steam version on day 1, and while it had some bugs (mainly path finding), I did not get graphical glitches and I liked the game.

I hope King Arts will also release the Linux version of the first two "Book of Unwritten Tales" games on GOG in the future.

I would just get some weird shapes in the corners of the screen every now and again. Such a good game though , I loved it:D

I found this release to be super buggy on Linux when I tried it. Graphical glitches, voices speaking in German instead of English when I had explicitly set it to English....and this was after it had been out for a while. I might try it again, but was very disappointed at the time.

I played the Steam version of The Raven a while back and I also experienced a lot of graphical glitches and path-finding issues. The most noticeable graphical issue for me was that some characters would sometimes be missing the top of their head. When I first started the game, it was set to a much too high resolution, so that I couldn't see any of the options in the start menu. I had to click around blindly until I managed to set it to a lower resolution. There were areas on the train and on the ship that I didn't even know I could walk to initially, and I was sure I was missing the solution to a puzzle when I was unable to progress for a while. And even after finding those areas, I had problems going back, since clicking in just the right spots was so difficult. Even with those issues though, I still really enjoyed the game, and it was a pretty neat twist towards the end (even though you'll probably be able to call it a while before it happens).
