It's been a while, but Trine Enchanted Edition is finally available for Linux users on GOG. It's well worth checking out, so hopefully a few more of you can play it now.

About the game (Official)
Trine Enchanted Edition is a remake of the original Trine with dazzling new visual effects and numerous gameplay improvements!

Both Trine Enchanted Edition as well as the original Trine are included in the Enchanted Edition. The different versions are selectable from the game launcher. All Trine purchases have been automatically updated to Trine Enchanted Edition.

Trine is a physics-based action game where three characters combine their powers to devise clever solutions to challenges created by hazardous puzzles and threatening enemies. The gameplay is based on fully interactive physics where each character's different abilities and tactics can be used to invent new ways to overcome obstacles and save the kingdom!

In my steam library there is Trine and Trine 2. When I go to steam online store for Trine Enchanted Edition it says I have it in my library. I suppose that "Trine" in my library is really Trine Enchanted Edition?

I will test when I have the HD space to do so.

Also, any news on when Trine 3 will be on Linux?

Also available on the Humble Store. I bought the Enchanted edition long ago and yesterday I was finally able to download it. Cannot wait to test it and beat it once and for all!

Finally! That took far longer than I anticipated. Now I just need to wait for a few more games that have Linux clients elsewhere as well as Galaxy.

I misread this as Trine 3 had come out with a Linux version, would of rather it been that :(

@Liamdawe,

Sorry I didn't inform you of this myself, didn't think it would be a big deal since Trine Enchanted Edition has already been available everywhere else for Linux :)

No worries at all, I do like to big up GOG's DRM free releases, so don't be a stranger ;)

Quoting: GuestI’m afraid there won’t be a lot of Trine sales on GOG since it’s been on sale DRM-free on the humble store and in bundles for so long. Well, maybe I’m wrong. In any case it’s nice to see not so old Linux games on GOG.

You're probably right but at least the Linux version is on GOG and that's what's important in the end, imho :)

It was released on Steam as soon as Frozenbyte finished developing it.
