It seems the developers of OlliOlli2 Welcome To Olliwood were taking note of all the issues at release, and I can confirm the game works much nicer now.

Originally the gamepad input was totally broken, and even keyboard input would be iffy in the menu, but I am pleased to say the current version has fixed it up.

Now that I can play it with a gamepad, it's so much nicer. I found it really difficulty to do any of the tricks with the keyboard, and this type of game really was designed for a gamepad that's for sure.

It seems they adjusted the trick timings for landings too, since in my previous attempts I couldn't land perfectly in anything, and now I am finding it a lot easier. It's still pretty difficulty to get the timing right (as it should be), but it's not impossible like it was before.

Many thanks to GOG again who provided the key for me. Their new installer really is much nicer than downloading a .deb file!

I started playing olliolli2 on my psvita recently. To my surprise it is a pretty addicting game. All tricks are made by doing Streetfighter 2 specialmove like motions on the left analogue stick. I can't even imagine how to play this game with a keyboard. Good that they fixed that.
