The new Unreal Tournament has been updated again, and it's sporting a fresh coat of paint on the main menu, amongst other changes.

Apologies for the top and bottom being a little cut off, it helps if I set my recorder to the whole screen and not a window-sized portion, oops.
Ps. I didn't choose the thumbnail for the video, hilarious it decided to capture me stepping in my own goo.
What's changed?
- Updated sniper rifle looks
- The main menu is a lot nicer now
- Hub interface for finding and making games has been revamped
- New voice overs
- Networking improvements

They still aren't including even a basic launcher for Linux, so you can simply make a desktop file with contents like this:
Save that to a text file on your desktop (or wherever), set it as executable and then you can launch it quickly without resorting to the terminal each time. Obviously you need to change it to where you downloaded and extracted the download. I'm sure there's a better way of doing the above, but it works fine for me. It's certainly nicer than remembering the command to launch it each time. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Yay I can finally actually view the site logged in! This game was an enormous chunk of my childhood (2k3/4), so I'm really excited to get playing!

I'm very interested in this as I played competitive UT99 and 2k4 more than a decade ago. Right now I only have a laptop as I'm always on the move.
How is performance on lower-end systems? Does anyone know? I'm tempted to install to see.

Got it installed and i'm thoroughly enjoying the direction it's going.
NB: Just out of curiosity, is anyone else experiencing lower detail graphics despite the resolution and detail settings being maxed? Running the game with OpenGL 4 doesn't seem to make a difference. (Using a GTX 780 with the NVIDIA 355.06 Prop. Driver)

However, most maps have low detail right now, so you could probably get decent performance for the time being on most maps, until they start finalizing them.

Even with my high end i5, 16GB RAM and a 970 it stutters at the start of every game, but once you get going it's a lot smoother.
