Humble Indie Bundle 15 has launched, and it's a very interesting bundle indeed. Skullgirls has finally made a Linux appearance!
I do find it odd that Planetary Annihilation (the classic version), is still being sold anywhere, especially in this HIB. Although you get a 66% discount for Planetary Annihilation: Titans at any level in the bundle, so that's kinda weird that the original PA is included at all. I'm happy about it though, and I hope plenty of people use that 66% off coupon for TITANS, bring in more Linux players!
I feel I should also note that Xenonauts is a wine game, so it's not a native game. Unless they have had it re-ported, but I haven't been able to check yet. It wouldn't be the first time a Wine game was in a Humble Indie Bundle, so i won't assume Xenonauts is now native.
Well then, even Xenonauts was re-ported to Linux as a native title for this bundle. That's made me one happy chap, and the porter was Knockout Games, the same guy who did Shadow Warrior and SOMA!
Included at any price:
Sir, You Are Being Hunted
Q.U.B.E. Director's Cut
Goodbye Deponia
66% off Humble Store Coupon for Planetary Annihilation: TITANS
Pay more than the average for:
Skullgirls - About time!
Planetary Annihilation - Classic version
Xenonauts - Now native!
$10 or more
Gang Beasts - Early Access

Xenonauts is still in beta and not actually available for Linux yet, so be careful.

Quoting: hummer010I'm guessing we'll see at least one of the other two Deponia games next week. Probably both of them.
Any other guesses as to the games that will be added next week?
I already have the Deponia trilogy, so I'm hoping for one of the Daedalic's that haven't been released for Linux before.

UHHHHHH.... you know a reputable porter just posted here right? It's like the first post if you missed it. Even if you complained that you were screwed on 1 single game, would you really bitch about it over a CHARITY event while still getting others? Not trying to be rude, but I find these words pretty distasteful over an event like this.
Also, it is worth mentioning that Xenonauts was NEVER going to be ported over (technical reasons or something), like ever. It's even a miracle it's in beta. Check the history on it in their Steam forum. We're lucky to even be graced by this port of an awesome gem.

Quoting: KeizgonI'm just giving fair warning to anybody who's considering this bundle for Xenonauts. Best to wait until the game is actually available for Linux before spending your money. And spare me the "charity" guilt trip. Most people don't buy Humble Bundles because it's a charity but because it's a great way to get games for cheapQuoting: Mountain ManXenonauts is still in beta and not actually available for Linux yet, so be careful.UHHHHHH.... you know a reputable porter just posted here right? Quoting: Mountain ManAnd spare me the "charity" guilt trip. Most people don't buy Humble Bundles because it's a charity but because it's a great way to get games for cheapIn fact it is because it is charity that they happen to sell cheap game bundles, don't be mistaken. Developers are aware of it (hence the discount) and Humble Bundle uses it as a strategy in order to raise money from a public that is not always prone to it. So, in a way you are right: people don't buy those for charity, but still, (some) money goes to charity, that's what matters (my opinion).
About your warning, I think it was just objective statement and I don't see any harm in it. Still, I would like to emphasise the great work that Aaron does and send him a big and cheerful THANKS from France.
Have a nice day folks and enjoy your Humble cookie!

I don't belong to any religious affiliation or give to any charity groups on a regular basis to care to "guilt trip" you.
Though your words are very humbling to know that your intentions are to simply throw a penny in the basket, so to speak, to self flagellate yourself over a beta port and cry about it. Reminds me of one of those hipsters. Not saying you are one, but if I were to picture right now... I would definitely see you flagellating yourself over a charity event. Seems like the human thing to do. My apologies, mate, carry on with your noble cause. Manners are indeed best spoken with an imaginary golden spoon and a dribbling mouth.
