Humble Indie Bundle 15 has launched, and it's a very interesting bundle indeed. Skullgirls has finally made a Linux appearance!

I do find it odd that Planetary Annihilation (the classic version), is still being sold anywhere, especially in this HIB. Although you get a 66% discount for Planetary Annihilation: Titans at any level in the bundle, so that's kinda weird that the original PA is included at all. I'm happy about it though, and I hope plenty of people use that 66% off coupon for TITANS, bring in more Linux players!

I feel I should also note that Xenonauts is a wine game, so it's not a native game. Unless they have had it re-ported, but I haven't been able to check yet. It wouldn't be the first time a Wine game was in a Humble Indie Bundle, so i won't assume Xenonauts is now native.
Well then, even Xenonauts was re-ported to Linux as a native title for this bundle. That's made me one happy chap, and the porter was Knockout Games, the same guy who did Shadow Warrior and SOMA!

Included at any price:
Sir, You Are Being Hunted
Q.U.B.E. Director's Cut
Goodbye Deponia
66% off Humble Store Coupon for Planetary Annihilation: TITANS

Pay more than the average for:
Skullgirls - About time!
Planetary Annihilation - Classic version
Xenonauts - Now native!

Quoting: GuestAnd another bad thing: This is a HIB. Still, the extra game is steam only :><:

Hmmm.. didn't notice that one! Thanks for the heads up.

Could it be one case of steam only during early access and later be released drm-free after launch?

EDIT: Confirmed! On the Humble Bundle intro text under DRM-free and on Steam, it reads:

QuoteAll of these games are DRM-free and on Steam for Windows, Mac, and Linux. (NOTE: Gang Beasts is only on Steam while in Early Access. Once the full game is released, we will automatically add a DRM-free version to your download page. Mac and Linux builds for Xenonauts are currently in Beta. Final builds will be provided to customers when they are available.) Pay $1 or more for access to Steam keys. Please check out the full system requirements here prior to purchasing.

On reddit it was noticed that it is the same situation with Starbound, where on the humble bundle download page I get a "Thank you for supporting Starbound. When the DRM-free build becomes available you can download it here!" note.

Change the update channel to "unstable" (ironically enough), you get much more features - such as costumes, new beta arenas, and... well... it works. Also, Gang Beasts is hilarious, must-have party game IMO (same goes for Battleblock Theater, Lethal League, Towerfall: Ascension, and som R'n'R Racing inspired game I can't remember the name of atm)

P.S. Awesome bundle, will wait for the second half however, as I always do, so that I can split my money among all participating devs as I please.

Quoting: operaSkullgirls finally released on Linux! Nice! :)

I wasn't planning on buying any games this week - but the moment I saw the Linux version of Skullgirls (with all of the DLC to boot!) - I was sold!

Quoting: Mountain ManAnd spare me the "charity" guilt trip. Most people don't buy Humble Bundles because it's a charity but because it's a great way to get games for cheap
I don't belong to any religious affiliation or give to any charity groups on a regular basis to care to "guilt trip" you.

Though your words are very humbling to know that your intentions are to simply throw a penny in the basket, so to speak, to self flagellate yourself over a beta port and cry about it. Reminds me of one of those hipsters. Not saying you are one, but if I were to picture right now... I would definitely see you flagellating yourself over a charity event. Seems like the human thing to do. My apologies, mate, carry on with your noble cause. Manners are indeed best spoken with an imaginary golden spoon and a dribbling mouth.
Um, dude, you were the one crying about how it's a charity and that we shouldn't complain if we don't get everything we pay for, so if there's any self-flagellating going on, it's your own back that's on the receiving end. And really, what would a boor like you know about manners? Perhaps you should take the log out of your own eye before looking for a splinter in mine.

I'm just stating basic facts and alerting people to the current state of things regarding Xenonauts since we Linux gamers have been burned in the past with unfulfilled promises. I'm not saying that it will necessarily happen in this case, but it's always a possibility until the game is actually available for sale.
