Multiplayer-Oriented Friday Livestream At 6 PM UTC

By -
I've been a little bit sick this past week and still haven't completely recovered, so I decided to invite a fairly familiar person to act as the co-host for this week's Friday Livestream. That person is of course our beloved leader, TheBoss. We will be playing some multiplayer games for fun but less for profit.

Livestream can be found over at http://www.twitch.tv/gamingonlinux

I originally had some other plans for this week but inviting a co-host and playing singleplayer games would be rude, so instead we are going to play BRAWL, a bomberman-like game, the ever popular Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (we suck at it though) and one of the newest open source games to make it on Steam, Teeworlds. We also have some backup games should one or more of these not work properly.

And you, the viewer, are naturally invited to spend some quality time* with us in those games should you happen to own them / want to play them with us.

Hopefully you will enjoy this week's livestream. Next week I should be in a better shape and we won't have to listen to Liam that time. :P

I foresee my kill to death ratio being rather terrible in CS:GO.

Ooh, I might join in for CSGO, to give you something to aim at. Looking forward to seeing the other games in action.

EDIT: Samsai, you are the worst starship engineer ever. :P

Would you be able to upload livesteams? I have terrible internet been living with 50kbps for a good long time now, so I cannot sadly watch your livestreams. If not then It's cool.

Where can you even get such bad internet these days? Just curious. Should take you about 4 minutes to just open gamingonlinux.com website without cache with that speed.

Spoiler, click me
Yeah at this rate Dialup is better at times for speed, we qualify for 5mbkps or so but we only get none because long story short BT can't be arsed making a better radius signal for the people live in just the outskirts of town since no profit for them so we'd have to move into town in order to get better internet which even then in town only around 2mb or so. Really sucks and makes me want to slap those peoples faces that complain of youtube processing of 360p where I usually watch it in 360p with some buffers. Takes like two hours to download a 30-40 minute video in an HD format sadly nowadays I download my YouTube videos due to being fed up of the buffering.

I'm a sheep shagger in Wales. ;3
