Arcen Games announced last week that they're moving the release of Stars Beyond Reach to next year, but the last of their humorous video shorts have been released, and they're teasing a new game to come out in the meantime. Here's part 3 of 3 of Tales of Woe:
CEO and designer Chris Park mentions the large scope of the game and a lack of creative energy as the reason why they're pushing the release to March next year and taking a break from the game to focus on another, smaller game. You might recall that they had originally announced a 5th June release date this year.
On the plus side, this means that we'll have another game from Arcen to look forward to, and, according to the same announcement, this interim game might come out as soon as January next year. Fans of roguelikes should be especially pleased, as this game will be a realtime roguelike with persistence. Arcen Games does have a way of adding a certain unique flavor to anything they create, and I'm sure this game will be no exception.

Not exactly gameplay, but it presents a gameworld that will probably be worth a closer look. Hadn't heard about it, which is what this site 
is for, after all.
