The developers of iLikeMoney emailed their game in, and it took me by surprise for how unique it looks. You should take a look at this.
They have confirmed to me the Linux version already exists, and is regularly tested on Ubuntu. They are aiming to release the game at the end of October, and I'm pretty excited to give this insanely fun looking game a good run.
I'm not a massive fan of Tower Defence games, but this one looks like it turns the genre on its head and provides a new experience.
About the game
iLikeMoney is a Tower Defense / RTS with comedic twist set in the 26th Century, inspired by the movie Idiocracy and full of pop culture references from popular games, movies and TV shows.
You've been sentenced to death, yet have one last shot to save yourself on the fictional TV show called iLikeMoney. You start with only a couple of stupid droids to help you, yet you collect and build an army 10 different cheap-@ss droids, place 10 wtf-defenses and spank the enemy through reaction, skill and upgrades.
Give it a vote on Steam's Greenlight if you like the look of it.

This doesn't look fun. The art comes off as Gromit and Wallace and the comedy feels "try-hard".
The game-play appears confusing aswell, most games have some kind of Genre, like StarCraft / WarCraft / RTS or Tycoon, or MMO WOW 3rd person, or Halo/CoD FPS and you know what to expect.
This on the other hand doesn't feel like it fits in any Genre - it feels like a World of Goo meets Mario Galaxy/Planetary Annihilation (except with bad art) - I don't think those mechanics necessarily compliment each-other.

This type of games are usually called "tug of war", as far as I know. Looks interesting.

Just your opinion. Personally I rather like the art style!

This reminds me of Reus.

Just what I was thinking. It does look pretty frenetic, and it's tower defense (it says here), and RPG.
Will wait and see; I like money too, of course.
