Telltale games are highly rated, so it's pretty exciting to see the possibility of Minecraft: Story Mode on Linux.
It seems quite a few people feel it's not as good as previous Telltale games, going by user reviews anyway. I've not had a chance to play any of their previous games since they don't support Linux.
According to SteamDB it seems like it will come to Linux:
QuoteChanged App Config
launch/2/config/osarch: 64
launch/2/config/oslist: linux
launch/2/description: Launch
launch/2/executable: Minecraft
launch/2/type: none
And also:

savefiles/3/path: Telltale Games/Minecraft

This would be the first Telltale game on Linux, so it may be possible for future games to come too.

Well, I respectfully disagree with many of you ;)
I love all TellTale games, and I played Tales of Money Island, Back to the Future and Walking Dead under wine and I really enjoyed them.
Despite I don't play minecraft (i've played for a while... but is not my type of game), their games are like a movie, so I will buy it for sure, and if they release former games I do not own because I decided a while ago not to buy native linux games, I will buy each and every one :)
So porting their engine to linux, now that steambox release day is near, seems finally me and other aventure gamers will enjoy their games in our beloved platform! :D

I'm actually really surprised that there is any hint of anything new in the Minecraft universe coming to Linux. What with the MS acquisition and all...

I have bought all of their recent games, since they are great. This is the first one that hasn't my interest, since I dont like minecraft, and by casuality it will be the 1st one with linux support. Whatever happens, I hope than they will port all their games, at least those that came after TWD.
Still, if the game turns out to be good then I will buy it too, but hopefully this time I will support Linux at the same time.
