Wow, I had Escape Goat 2 in my Steam cart last night and fell asleep before I could checkout. I'm glad I did now!

Escape Goat 2 is fantastic, you'll be happy to get it in the bundle.

My problem is that the only games I want and don't already have are Massive Chalice and Lumino City, and the latter isn't a Linux game. So I don't know if $13 for MC is really worth the trouble, since it'll probably go down at least that far when the Steam winter sale happens.

I hear Hack 'n' Slash has a hell of a difficulty spike at the half-way point, anyone know if that's true?

Yeah, that was the latest I could find. I was just wondering if anyone has seen anything more recent, or more specific. But I guess not, which doesn't bode well.

Note: once you activate Hack n' Slash you will also receive a gift copy of Spacebase DF9. You may get a popup about a guest pass but it's actually the full game for you to keep.

Yeah, that's how I remember it too. The second half is where the hacking mechanics really shine though, so if you enjoy those and have a head for programming, that part is great. Otherwise, that's probably where you give up on the game.

It was supposed to, but I think I read that it's been delayed indefinitely because of technical difficulties.

This did not happen for me. But I got it on a previous sale a month or two ago.

A bit of research suggests that it's the other way around, if you purchase DF9 they'll give you HnS.

Lumino City os Flash as far as I know, so unless they wrap it in a pepper+browser combo or something equally goofy, we may never see it on Linux.
