Heads up cheapo hunters, as Steam has a big sale on right now that lasts until December 1st. I've highlighted some deals I think are pretty good, I won't list them all.

ARK: Survival Evolved - 40% off!

Company of Heroes 2 - 75% off!

The Talos Principle - 66% off! - I usually hate puzzle games, but this game is really quite good, and beautiful too.

Broforce - 50% off! - If you don't buy this, you're weird.

STAR WARS™ Knights of the Old Republic™ II - The Sith Lords™ - 70% off! - A great RPG with a great Linux version, and the price now is just insane.

Borderlands 2 - 75% off! - The loot is just crazy in this game!

There's tons more, and I've only picked some choice ones here. Tell us what bargains you picked up! Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Bought "Ark:Survival Evolved" and "Road Redemption".

Honestly, these were two titles that I didn't even particularly want. But the 20-30 titles that I really, really, *really* wanted, were (obviously) "Windows Only" either permanently or at least for several more months. Depressing...

Nightside is available for $1 at groupees!

I bought Dying Light for 66% off.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 – Scandinavia. I was waiting for a sale because I found 17.99€ a bit overprized for an extension, but 8.99€ is a fair price. ETS is a great game. I'm already looking very forward to American Truck Simulator.

I got "Descent: Underground" (67%!) and "Adventure in the Tower of Flight" (good retro-game, very good Linux support).
err0r3o3 25 Nov 2015
I bought the Doorways collection, Outlast - Wistleblower and Aperture Tag (Portal Mod)
ricki42 25 Nov 2015
Got Terraria, Apotheon, and Magicka 2.
I got "Descent: Underground" (67%!)

I was considering it, but a month or so ago Liam wrote in his review that it's still very barebones and unpolished. Has it improved much since?
LinuxGamesTV 25 Nov 2015
Arma III 50% cheaper
tkonicz 25 Nov 2015
No, it has not. Descent is still rather "barebones", but it was an investment in the future ;-)

Thanks all for the recommendations, my eyes are always open for fun Linux games. I think I have a Linux Game hoarding problem >_> <_< >_<

So I'm pretty sure that during the last sale only Linux games showed up on my store front page. Now it shows also Windows-only games, and the OS list is only shown when I hover the cursor over the tile. Is that happening for everyone?

Picked many things up in the sale. Still pretty satisfying trying to decide what to buy and not to with the current selection of Linux available games. Man I love indie games. :)

At first I thought this, but that's only for the top section that gets shown to everyone. Everything below it is Linux/SteamOS if you're on that platform. Though it would be nice if they would fix their 1st party ads to only display Linux games on our end, amongst other things.

Oops, I didn't even notice you can scroll lower! Thanks for pointing that out!

Morrowind is on sale and works perfectly with openmw.
rustybroomhandle 26 Nov 2015
Great sale!

For small developers though, remember: Full price is the best price! ;)

Got TIS-100 and EuroTruckSimulator2 + DLCs. TIS-100 is fun, in a wake up in the middle of the night dreaming of code solutions to puzzles kind of way(I think just wrecked my life). ETS2 because who doesn’t like big diesel trucks 'n things!

Already bought 3 games on sale but I was looking at Dying Light as well, is the linux version poopy or good?
If you have a good i5 and a GTX 660 or better, you should be good to go*. I hear that multiplayer is broken though.

Multiplayer works fine for me on Mint 17.2. Played a couple of nights ago, no problems at all.

Performance-wise, an i7 and GTX 760 is enough to run the game on fairly high settings at 1920x1080. So far the experience has been excellent, not encountered any problems at all.

Anyway, the demo is still downloadable for free if you just want to see how well it runs.

I havent bought anything, got too many games to play.

but i was looking into: Road Redemption and Windward... dunno if i would play those more than 20 min though, like with most of the games except ARK :D
