It's time for another edition of "GOL Asks", and today I am asking about games you have been playing and loving or hating recently.

I will open up the floor to you, my lovely users to tell everyone what you have be doing. I haven't asked this question for a few months, so it will be interesting to see what people have moved onto.

Personally, I got a little bit sucked into Galak-Z recently, as you might have noticed by the article. I'm the worst pilot in the word, but I love it. I really need to do another Alien: Isolation livestream, but my god, there's not enough RUM in the world to make me do that ;) Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Recently played, all with Steam Controller:
- Trine 3
- Adventure Capitalist
- Time Clickers
- Axiom Verge

Except Trine 3 I played them via Steam Link on my TV. The idle clickers games are well playable with the keyboard mouse emulation of the Steam Controller.

Interesting is the input lag for Axiom Verge. It is also very well playable via Steam Link, but when you got used to the delay (even though it's quite little), you have problems playing it on (Linux) PC again ;)

Hard West
X3 Reunion
Quake (I never played it when it came out, finally taking care of that now)

Invisible, Inc.
Knights of the Old Republic II
Alien: Isolation

I looooove Invisible, Inc. It's one of the best turn-based strategy games on Steam imho.

I've been burning a fair number of hours on Terraria. I also celebrated the arrival of Overgrowth Alpha 210 on Steam with a little Rabbit fury in the Arena.

Just picked up Running With Rifles a couple of days ago, and while I wasn't that impressed at first, it's growing on me. It's far more skill-based than I expected, and learning how to make good use of cover and shoot accurately is critical to make progress.

Road Redemption awaits me tonight.

Broforce and Mordor. Would usually be playing Borderlands 2 as well but I like to have a little break every 100 hours or so of game time

Broforce, Rogue legacy, Terraria, Vangers. The last two needed a few tweaks to get a good steam controller config but it became very much playable with the pad only on the SteamOS. It does marvels to these hybrid games with mouse inventory.

On a plain linux laptop Starbound as it had troubles getting running on steamOS and I was to lazy to create a shortcut for the game executable waiting for the following update instead.

Finally finished up the Claptastic Voyage DLC (from Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel) with a friend a few days ago. Fun!

Apart from that I've been doing the occasional puzzle from Paint it Back, a cute little nonogram/picross puzzle game that came out awhile ago.

ARK has been sucking up most of my time, although it's still a bit crappy when compared to its windows counterpart.
Alien: Isolation is the runner-up right after ARK.

After Alien:Isolation, I'll probably finally get around to have Shadow of Mordor a go... as The Witcher 3 still isn't supporting tux. :(

Mostly CS:GO (reached LEM finally, now going for Supreme)
and then some Dirt Showdown, a bit of Krosmaster Arena for breaks between CS matches with my team mates, and I started Bioshock Infinite, which is great but I still have troubles with my Steam Controller that I just can't figure out, so this'll have to wait as I rather play it with a controller. And right now I'm hopping into the VN Higurashi when they cry after having finished all my other VNs last week.

This is a little off topic, but I just noticed something interesting:
http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2015/11/psa-pre-thanksgiving-one-day-sale-drops-a-steam-machines-price-to-300/

So apparently the Syber Steam Machines are all doing a $200-off sale today?
If this kind of thing crops up a fair amount, the price-point arguments are going to need rethinking.
