It's time for another edition of "GOL Asks", and today I am asking about games you have been playing and loving or hating recently.

I will open up the floor to you, my lovely users to tell everyone what you have be doing. I haven't asked this question for a few months, so it will be interesting to see what people have moved onto.

Personally, I got a little bit sucked into Galak-Z recently, as you might have noticed by the article. I'm the worst pilot in the word, but I love it. I really need to do another Alien: Isolation livestream, but my god, there's not enough RUM in the world to make me do that ;) Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Wasteland 2: Directors Cut
Pillars of Eternity
Project Zomboid
FarSky
Interstellaria
(Plus Fallout New Vegas through Wine as I never finished it first time around and it makes me feel a little better about not being able to play Fallout 4)

Really need to get hold of Alien: Isolation but thinking of waiting until after I get a shiny new graphics card for Christmas to replace my ageing GTX 660.

Quoting: Username already takenToo many games and not enough time.

Yep. There will never be enough time. If you start to think you're about to finish all the games you have now, you'll have already bought too many more.

Myself, I spend more time buying games and reading about buying more games than I do actually playing them. Which is saying something, since I play a lot...

Quoting: SkudraAnd recently got Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel but haven't installed it yet. is it good?

Haven't played much of it yet, but you get to play as Claptrap! That automatically makes it the greatest game ever.

Quoting: ShaoluThe Talos Principle is seriously one of the best games of all time for me.
Same here, for me it's probably the best game I've ever played.

It might be worth for you to take a look at SOMA. While it's a different genre, horror instead of puzzler, and it does not yield it's philosophical questions via tons of texts, it still reminded me of The Tals Principle - and Anmesia, of course.

I recently bought several new games, but all I play is 7 Days To Die. Just one evening spent with The Long Dark.

I usually only play FTL.

But recently I bought Skullgirls and Shovel knight and both are great. Soon I will end Shovel knight for the first time.

I've just finished Broken Age and Shovel Knight. Best games I've played in a decade!

Also, Bit.Trip Runner2 and Race the Sun are great games to play when you have just a few minutes.

I play on Linux , and i have no interest on SteamOS beside more potential ported games. I play lots of Alpha indev game, because i like to see how they evovle, and most of the time i don't even play the "finished" product, even if i have 10, 20, 50... hours of played time. So lately, i've played several games, like always, included :

++ = main games
+ = side games
- = tested or replayed a little

- 0 A.D.
++ Templar Battleforce
++ Conquest of Elysium 4
- Dinocide Demo
- Boss Constructor
- Kwaan
- Planet Centauri
- Warring States
+ Brigador
+ Siralim
+ Zombasite
- Thea
- Starsector
- Factorio
- Wildterra
- Black Sea Odyssey Demo
++ and i confess, Secret of Grindea via WINE

I haven't been in the mood to play games recently, dealing with real life family health problems including waiting weeks to find out my other half doesn't have cancer, that was a relief I can tell you. :D
