About the game
The Escapists provides players the opportunity of experiencing a light-hearted insight into everyday prison life with the main objective being that of escaping! Players will have to keep in line and juggle their time sensibly as they form their personal plan of escape; working out potential routes to use as well as being incredibly smart and clever in using what seem like harmless items to craft and create various weaponry and escape tools which help aid the player in their ultimate goal of escaping.
GOG sent me over a copy of the game along with the DLC, and I tested it out to make sure it works. I am pleased to say it works fine, it even works beautifully in full-screen with my dual monitor setup, so that made me very happy. I do love GOG's newer installers, so much nicer to use.
Overall, I've found it to be a much nicer game than their Walking Dead crossover, which I found tedious to play. This normal The Escapists is actually more fun to play, so go check it out.

To late! I wonder what took them so long.

You can ask developers. It's always a delay on their side. The usual reason - they treat GOG as an afterthought. In other words, Steam monoculture is still strong. But situation is gradually improving.
