Good news for all who were annoyed by how bad Raven's Cry was. The revamp Vendetta: Curse of Raven's Cry will arrive on the 20th of November.
It will be free for those who own Raven's Cry, but as we reported before it will be a manual process. I asked if this process will be ready for the release, and the reply was this:
QuoteHi Liam,
we will setup a website where customers can request a free upgrade.
Best regards,
Dirk P. Hassinger
A further reply was also given to me:
QuoteHi Liam,
yes it will be a manual process. A costumer needs his recipt, billing number etc. to proof that he bought Raven’s Cry.
There will be an option on Vendetta-game.com to claim the upgrade.

I have now asked why they are forcing people to go through hoops, when we know plenty of other games that have done it on Steam without any user interaction, and they have yet to reply.
I also asked about AMD GPU status:
QuoteHi Liam,
we are in touch with AMD, but I do not know the status.
Best regards,
Dirk P. Hassinger

Some you may have missed, popular articles from the last month:
Quoting: liamdaweThey've confirmed on the Steam forums that it's because some people have the game via stolen test key's.Quoting: wolfyrionI think for Steam users that have already purchased Ravens Cry,Vendetta will appear on their Steam Library at release date.
No need to do anything , though a confirmation would be nice..
This is why I've asked them why they are making people go through hoops, which I am waiting for a reply on for clarification.
Still can't see why they need additional methods to verify people have a legit copy though, they should be able to see this through Steam.

They've worked some additional months on their games (which, granted, was obviously needed).
I think it's not a big deal to fill a form to get such a big upgrade.

And if I bought it on Steam? I'd guess Steam knows I bought it :D.
