Hatred, that weird shooter about killing anyone and everyone is now in testing for Linux the developer has confirmed, and SteamDB shows it too.
Remember, never buy a game until the Linux version is released.
The developer said hours ago they were testing something, and SteamDB shows it too:
QuoteChanged App Config
launch/1/config/oslist: linux
launch/1/executable: Hatred\Binaries\Linux\Hatred-Linux-Test
launch/1/type: default
About the game
Hatred fills your whole body. You’re sick and tired of humanity’s worthless existence. The only thing that matters is your gun and the pure Armageddon that you want to unleash.
You will go out for a hunt, and you will clear the New York outskirts of all humans with cold blood. You will shoot, you will hurt, you will kill, and you will die. There are no rules, there is no compassion, no mercy, no point in going back. You are the lord of life and death now - and you have full control over the lives of worthless human scum.
You will also run, you will need to think, you will need to hide and fight back when armed forces come to take you down. You will have no mercy for them, because they dare to stand in your way.
Only brutality and destruction can cleanse this land. Only a killing spree will make you die spectacularly and go to hell.

Same in Germany, it seems. But it's not my cup of coffee anyway.

Laughably stupid game. Not even offensive.
Are you really surprised? This is the country that thinks AO rated games is a privilege and treats their adults like they're sheep. With that level of censorship, the last thing I would be thinking about is playing video games. Get your rights back mate.

The controversy around this game was ridiculous. This game doesn't do anything that other games haven't done in the past and that current games also do. In a lot of ways, it's a lot more honest about what it is that the vast majority of the billion other murder simulators out on the market.
That said, the game is pretty dull. I do, however, have interest in what these devs make next, as the physics in the game are very impressive and it's not bad for a first effort. Hopefully they do something more creative next time.

Hatred isnt bad game. Look at users review on Steam. So If people did not protest against Postal, why they have to do with Hatred?
Brutality in games is like in the movies, and somehow, there's no one protests.
BTW.
As to the unavailability Germany is not only game, also Dying Light, Dead Island or Left4Dead2. Well, if in a country ruled by socialists who control it in a socialist EU, it can not be expected to take from them a wise decision. Change your government in Germany, and it will be better - we in Poland already change government and now is much better but old government very complains to the socialists in the EU as a new government is bad, but it's not true. So do you want brutality game? Do you want freedom? Chnge government.

Haven't actually seen anyone protesting. The general complaint is that unlike Postal, which has a definite satirical edge to it, this is just bland and pointless.

Quoting: rustybroomhandleActually, Postal isn't satirical, or if it is, then it's completely lost on me. In fact, Postal doesn't have much story to it at all. There are some vague reference to the Earth hungering for death or some such, but basically it's just a guy running around murdering everyone with basically no storyline to speak of. It's actually almost the exact same game as Hatred. Postal 2, on the other hand, is silly and satirical.Quoting: DamonLinuxPLHatred isnt bad game. Look at users review on Steam. Utter nonsense. Socialist parties in the sense of what Poland and the GDR had are illegal in Germany. And the conservative party is the biggest part of the government coalition.

By changing the supreme court on day one? You may want to ask Andrzej Zoll about that. If I would be religions (which I'm not), I'd pray for Polands democracy, which they fought hard for in the 80ies.
But this is off-topic here, I won't answer anything except if you care to write in private.

I meant Postal as a collective franchise. Also, don't confuse "satire" with "funny".
