Steam is having a whopper of a sale right now

Roll up, roll up, it's time to empty your wallets. Steam is having a big winter sale with an insane amount of games on sale, and some serious bargains.

I imagine even I will end up buying a few random games that will take me forever to play.

Go ahead, buy something, fill their pockets.

Be sure to share some favourite deals in the comments.

Shout out to our Sales Page, we don't track Steam sales as they don't provide an API for us to do it, but we track many others who price match Steam too. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Normally I go full indie, but with all the titles that came out this year... well it was a balancing act to say the least.

Never Alone (Kisima Ingitchuna) appeared with a Linux/SteamOS icon just in time for this sale :)
Download in progress!
Segata Sanshiro Dec 22, 2015
The only games I really want currently on sale are The Vanishing of Ethan Carter and Banished... Neither have been released yet :(

Might pick up Skyhill and Armello if they go cheaper, but nothing else has caught my eye really. Will be playing Saint's Row which I bought yesterday :D

Good call, I've been waiting for a deep sale on that. I might scoop it up. I have until Jan 4 to make up my mind.

If you are on a tight budget:

PixelJunk™ Shooter
Journey of a Roach
Shadowgate
Teslagrad
Card City Nights

5 great games for only 8.60 euros.

... And there, Pillars Of Eternity is pocketed.

To Be Continued.

I bought the Linux-available Saints Row games, and an extra DLC for Total War: ATTILA that made it's way to Linux (only one left to port -- Viking Forefathers!).

...now I have to collect the rest of the cards. Don't ask me why, I just do.
dtanderson Dec 22, 2015
Has anyone tried the co-op in Saints Row yet?

Just did the exact same as you.
darth_penguinista Dec 22, 2015
Skull Girls
Alien Isolation
Deponia
Deadcore

Plenty to keep me busy with all the stuff I have already bought.

The sales have less and less effect on me. I find myself less excited about them as I've often bought the games I wanted, already. I mostly use them for buying useless DLCs like Paradox content packs - sprites, music, etc. Still, I'll probably end up buying something.
