The Mean Greens - Plastic Warfare is a pretty damn good looking action game about plastic toy soldiers, reminds me of a game I played like it years ago. The developers are interested in a Linux version, and want testers.

You can see their forum post here:
QuoteUnfortunately, we don't have any Linux testers on our team. If you'd be interested in testing the game on Linux, you can email [email protected] for further info.

About the game (Official)
Take part of history’s greatest battle of Green VS. Tan. Fight amongst and against others online. Jump, shoot and roll your way into victory with fast paced objective based gameplay. Sometimes the greatest battles are fought by the smallest of soldiers.

The Mean Greens is a 3rd-person shooter played from the perspective of toy army soldiers. Match up with others online for some friendly multiplayer competition. Enjoy a huge battle of up to 10 players in each environmentally unique map. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

I'm not often into shooters, but this looks fun. Although I'm also not one for multiplayer games..

I no more play fps for months because I found them too serious. But this one looks very funny, mail just sent.

I must have this! :D

It reminds me of the Dreamcast, where I had Toy Commander . Only this time, you're only playing as the toy soldiers and not as all the other toys - which would be amazing!

I've seen some gameplay and IMO this game is looking good and it has personality (not a copy paste of everything else).

Unfortunately this genre is rough it's competitors, so I hope they do good.
