Another week and another session in our GRID Autosport tournament, it's time for you to see more dirt driving from the Linux community.

I actually missed last week, can't remember why, so it was a pleasure to be back again. The tournament is run by community member ysblokje (who's one of the most dirty drivers around!). See our tournament forum for more info.

This tournament is genuinely one of the most fun gaming experiences I think I've ever had, and I hope to see more of you join in for more and on different games with us too. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Why using Grid to play Showdown ? :)
neowiz73 Jan 18, 2016
one of these days I'll get some time to play that game, I really liked Showdown, just got it recently as well as GRID during the holidays. But GRID seemed to much of a simulation of racing to where I figured it was going to take me awhile to get used to it. Then you guys are here running GRID like Showdown, lol :D

yeah some people are different... checking liam's video i see that people dont even care about breaks or trajectory .. they all just randomly bump into eachother without even trying.. but i guess people are different, i like to get better with every lap, trying to squeeze some more out of the car, finding a bit better trajectory, breaking points etc.
if i start from the back of the pack, its really hard to get in front, because cars fly all over the places, come directly into the road from field trips etc. If i start infront and the first corner is 90 degree or similar, theres great chance you are going to get wiped out in the first corner by someone who doesnt know what breaks are :D

anyway its still fun, but its not really DIRT Showdown, so i expect a little cleaner race, side by side car scratching is normal :D

my 2 cents

With the way you guys race, I'd love to see you play Rocket League when it comes to Linux.
