Day of Infamy is a brand new WWII mod for the FPS game Insurgency that looks like it could be pretty awesome.

From the PR email:
QuoteInsurgency has shown that realistic, tense FPS experiences are alive and more than well with more than 2 million players playing Insurgency today. With roots built deep in the modding community, the next step for New World Interactive is an ambitious WWII mod through the Steam Workshop titled Day of Infamy.

Exploring the harsh close-quarter battles inspired by WWII, and drawing inspiration from the famous source mod Day of Defeat; New World Interactive plan to crowdsource a must-see WWII experience through its efforts and the community.

You can find the mod on Steam here. You need to opt-in to the Insurgency beta before grabbing the mod and the maps to go with it. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

I really like WWII games, tx for the tip :)
It looks like similar to Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, Sprearhead and Breakthrough, my favorite and best ever-made WWII game

I wonder if this will be downloadable mode, or a standalone game...
