GamingOnLinux's GOTY Awards is now open!

By -
Greetings Linux gamers, our GOTY award is now open for voting. We have multiple categories to vote in this year, as requested.

Head over to our GOTY page to begin voting!

All games were nominated by the community, so if your personal choice isn't there be sure to add it next time during nominations.

It should be a bug free experience, but do let me know of any issues ASAP.

Voting will close on the 12th. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

I fear another one has been made by me: Portal Stories: Mel is in updates as well as in DLCs. It's called a fan mod, but I guess it better fits DLCs than updates.

What about icculus?

Apparently The Talos Principle has snuck into the "Overall best Linux game released in 2015" category. I am guessing it should be removed since it was released in 2014 :)

Did icculus do anything in 2015?

Again, he wasn't nominated by anyone.

Well spotted, I have removed it, anyone who voted for it has their vote back in that category.

You can see what category you can vote in if it doesn't have a tick beside its name FYI, I added that in late last night to help people keep track.

It had an update in 2015, so actually it still fits in the updates category. It's also a DLC, so it fits there too.

So all is fine for that one.

How about nominating SuperTux (0.4.0) for Best update in 2015?

Also, would Teeworld's Steam release this summer count?

Cheers!

Oh, I see... I wasn't even here when the nominations started, and I missed that article. :)

There has also been a blue information box about the nominations at the top of the front page for the last couple of weeks. Maybe it would have been better if it was red and blinking though. :)
