GOG have joined in on the Early Access hype and have opened up their store to allow a few select titles in. They even offer a 14 day refund option for titles in development. This refund option is a no questions asked deal, which is pretty awesome.

TerraTech is also on GOG, but no Linux version on GOG currently. I guess they found issues during their testing, but who knows.

I'm confused.. Doesn't "GOG" stand for "Good Old Games"? How does early access factor into that? 
Not that it matters, more stores selling newer games on Linux is always a good thing.

I believe they started as a service that sells old/classic games but eventually expanded to the full fledged digital distribution service.

Games like Xonotic, SuperTuxKart, Unvanquished, and 0 A.D. could be put on GOG as well now, right? They are all still under development.

I have never had luck with the Linux version of TerraTech. The payload terminals simply don't work - they only present empty lists, no parts available - maybe the GoG testers experienced the same?

When a new game version is available, GOG puts both a new full version and a smaller patch for those with bandwidth constraints.
I personally prefer downloading the new full version every time, my laptop more often than not is without internet so I find it handy.

Yes, they should put their efforts in the Galaxy Client for Linux now. Otherwise they become less attractive. Especially if I see Games now, for which I need the Client to play them. Wonderful so we have DRM back on GOG too. Selfmade, ok, but still DRM :(
But I have to disagree with you on that topic. Sure that is the risk if you buy EA-Games. But don't blame all of developers for a few idiots. Most developers deliver what they have promised and still adding features and content to it after release.
