The second ever GamingOnLinux GOTY award is now over! Thank you to every one who voted, give yourselves a pat on the back.
Congratulations to all the winners, you deserve it as voted by our readers!
This was a much bigger turnout than last year in votes, and it all went over pretty smoothly I think!
Psst, please mind any issues with the charts above, they are brand new. The graphs are made possible using the awesome SVGGraph script, with a little of my own magic.

Some you may have missed, popular articles from the last month:
I must say I'm surprised about Cities: Skylines receiving that many votes. Apart from that it all looks fine although only one of my favourites won. :)

Random idea: What if there were a tasteful set badges or something that could be shared with Colossal Order and others? It would help these games and this site get recognition at the same time.

We had Sobkas working on a congrats image, but he's been busy with stuff and it wasn't final.
We may have some sort of badges or something next year.

Initial takeaway: Axiom Verge got robbed, and too many people use Wine.

Was Dwarf Fortress actually nominated for anything? I keep seeing it mentioned in posts about open source games, but Dwarf Fortress is proprietary.
Also in Most Anticipated, were all those games actually announced for Linux or is that just speculation and a lot of wishful thinking?
I am surprised D: OS got all the votes it did after the hate in the comments every time they delayed it :D

I think badges would be great to give to all the top spots in each category. And maybe a special GOTY page/section here in the website. It could have a list of the winners for every year, some pictures and such.

Quoting: bubexelBioshock is a generic story? omg! you haven't played it or what? :O i think is one of the best history a game had ever... unbelivable :D
don't get me wrong. its a nice game, but imo apart from the amazing city, the story wasnt anything special to me, pretty much same as previous bioshock games in general. though i have only 5 hours into the game or something like that, but it didnt pull me in because of being nothing special.

I had real trouble voting on the best game porter category, I wanted to vote for all of them as they all did brilliantly in 2015.

Since when is Unreal Tournament an open source game?
