It shouldn't be too long before they open it up to the rest of us, so that's great. I can't wait to dive in!
About the game (Official)

I've seen someone getting 40-60 fps on ultra 2550x1440 with an amd x290. Yes, on Linux.

This game looks like fantastic fun, love the setting.
But I really really really hope there's players online during my (CET) time zone. Purchasing 100% multiplayer games are such a risky affair.

SteamDB has handy graphs to help you decide things like this.

I've been playing the beta and it runs very smooth for me (nvidia user). The biggest problem currently is that two of the maps have a lighting issue (which I've read also affects the Mac OS release too). Besides that, it's a great little game to sit back with a steam controller for a little while. :D

This game looks like fantastic fun, love the setting.I imagine this very addictive. But red (blood) injury indication for green plastic soldiers doesn't seem very appropriate

Agree, seems blood lust took precedence over art direction and aesthetic in this area.

Seems it isn't terribly fond of multiple monitors, but from what I understand that is an Unreal Engine issue? For example, the menus wouldn't work right. I haven't had much time yet to really give it a go, but it looks fantastic.

Good to see Unreal Engine 4 games work so well on Linux on both AMD and NVIDIA hardware even without the Vulkan render path. You can already see traces of Vulkan SDK support in the Unreal Engine source code. I hope the behind the scenes work to enable Vulkan gets pushes to the repo soon.
I really hope every single UE4 game gets released on Linux. Just think of all the UE3 games that had to be ported, by Feral, Aspyr, Icculus etc. Borderlands 2, XCOM, Goat Simulator etc. etc.
