Looks like the 2013 game Tomb Raider is heading to SteamOS & Linux according to new information popping up on SteamDB.
I'm actually a big fan of the game, as I played it when it came out on PS3, but sadly I never got to finish it for various reasons. Being able to do so on my favourite system, that's bloody brilliant.
I wonder who's doing the port? Any guesses folks?
About this game (Official)
Tomb Raider explores the intense and gritty origin story of Lara Croft and her ascent from a young woman to a hardened survivor. Armed only with raw instincts and the ability to push beyond the limits of human endurance, Lara must fight to unravel the dark history of a forgotten island to escape its relentless hold. Download the Turning Point trailer to see the beginning of Lara’s epic adventure.

Yeah, I never finished this when I played it on consoles because reasons too. I look forward to finishing it on Linux.
As for the porter: first guess would be Feral, since they also did the OSX port. But given their current workload, that's not really a guarantee. Hope it's either them or Aspyr regardless.

Probably being ported by one of the usual suspects. Aspyr or Feral if their codebase is fairly portable. Virtual Programming if not. Is this the first port of a Square Enix game?

I can't imagine any of the big three would port this badly, they are all doing great work at the moment.

I'll have to play it again for 4th time. I really love this game. I think I'll buy it again to make a birthday gift.
What is your opinion about "Sleeping Dogs" and "Deus Ex: Human Revolution DC" (Square Enix Titles)?

Deus Ex: Human Revolution would be fucking brilliant if it was on Linux, completed it on the non-DC version. I would wholly welcome it on Linux to play it through how it was meant to be played. That's a dream though, no hints on that one atm.

I think Feral is doing it, they said they were doing a new game + they did the OS X version. The best part is, this open the door for more SE (or, at least, Eidos) games to come in the future, so... Deus Ex! Hitman!
I hope this is successful on Linux and we get some of those + Rise of the Tomb Raider

That would be fantastic, it's a very good game!
Feral did the Mac version of Tomb Rider.
