Looks like the 2013 game Tomb Raider is heading to SteamOS & Linux according to new information popping up on SteamDB.

I'm actually a big fan of the game, as I played it when it came out on PS3, but sadly I never got to finish it for various reasons. Being able to do so on my favourite system, that's bloody brilliant.

I wonder who's doing the port? Any guesses folks?

About this game (Official)
Tomb Raider explores the intense and gritty origin story of Lara Croft and her ascent from a young woman to a hardened survivor. Armed only with raw instincts and the ability to push beyond the limits of human endurance, Lara must fight to unravel the dark history of a forgotten island to escape its relentless hold. Download the Turning Point trailer to see the beginning of Lara’s epic adventure. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Hum, another item to my wishlist.

- I'm playing Grid Autosport and really appreciate Feral position related to non Nvidia users: "officially we don't support, by you can play anyway". Hope they fix the split-screen thought. And supporting all gamepads, not only the 360 one.

- Aspyr is MIA, so this could be a awesome comeback. Hope they support non 360 controllers this time thought.

- VP... If this is the only way...

- Somebody knows how much percentage these porters got from every sale? 20, 30, 50%?

- And just to confirm, if I already own the game on Steam, but want to give the porter some money, the DLCs are the best way right?

Quoting: GuestFirst I thought this was great news, and then I watched some gameplay and read the negative reviews on Steam… Camera moves by itself to take annoying angles, many QTEs (for which you probably need a gamepad), many cutscenes.

1. 95% positive and a metascore of 86 is quite shitty, your right.
2. Camera moves at some points for better cineastic effects (that plane crashing as shown) and to help when moving (esc. climbing)
3. I wasn't used to QTE and really messed up a bossfight, when aiming perfectly for the wrong time.

I REALLY enjoyed Tomb Raider Anniversary as well. It was great to see what they did with the original I semi-played years and years ago.

According to Square-Enix, FF13 is also coming to Linux, right? Wrong... maybe this is the same :(

I'll buy it for sure when it arrives! I've only watched some Youtube reviews of it when it released, and it looked fun.

Well damn, there goes more money!

I wanted to play this, I wanted to get this, except at the time my PS3 got YLOD and I was pissed off with Sony (for various reasons including the way they treated PS3 customers) so never got this game.

Now it's coming to Linux... instant buy (on release).

I wondered when they were finally going to come out with it.
